Day 1. Welcome to Italy
After your arrival in Catania, you’ll head over to the Villa Neri Resort & Spa to begin your getaway. Make sure you take advantage of the included 2-hour entry (once per person per stay) to the exclusive Petra spa! Enjoy a relaxing massage or indulge in a facial treatment, the heated water beds, or body wrap. Round out your day with a dip in the large outdoor saltwater pool and a glass of local Sicilian wine.

Day 2. Linguaglossa

Today, you'll also enjoy your included historic train tickets to the medieval village of Randazzo, where you can visit 13th century churches made of the local black lava stone as well as museums that offer unique relics and art from the past. Wander through the cobblestone streets as you browse the local artisan shops, or opt for a wine tasting instead.
Step back in history with a 10:00 AM departure on the iconic vintage train from Linguaglossa, located just a brief 10-minute stroll from the hotel. This scenic rail journey winds through unique volcanic landscapes, arriving at the fortified medieval village of Randazzo.
The afternoon is yours to explore the town's basalt-paved streets and Gothic architecture at your own pace. The historic center is a haven for food lovers, boasting an array of traditional trattorias and rustic eateries perfect for a leisurely Sicilian lunch. After soaking in the local culture, board the return train for a relaxing ride back, arriving by approximately 3:00 PM.
Day 3. Linguaglossa
Today includes a guided tour of the estate’s vineyard and olive grove. During your free time, simply rest, relax, and indulge in the other amenities on-site.
Go behind the scenes of Sicilian viticulture with an immersive guided walk through the Villa Neri estate. Wander through sun-drenched vineyards and ancient olive groves as an expert guide explains the delicate art of vine cultivation and the seasonal rhythms of the harvest.
The journey culminates in the cool sanctuary of the estate’s wine cellar. Here, the transition from grape to glass comes to life during a curated tasting of signature labels. Each pour is perfectly paired with a handpicked selection of authentic Sicilian delicacies, offering a true taste of the island's rich culinary heritage.
Day 4. Linguaglossa
No stay at the Villa Neri Resort & Spa would be complete without a tour of the active Mt. Etna volcano. Speak with the concierge about arranging a car excursion that will give you access to seeing the volcano close up. You can also visit the nearby Grotta del Gelo, which is an ice cave created from one of the volcano’s lava tubes. Admire the stunning panoramic views of the island and the Mediterranean sea beyond before heading back to the hotel for a relaxing swim or cocktails in the garden patio.

Day 5. Depart Italy
