Day 1. Welcome to Portugal!
Arrive in Porto, pick up your car hire, and then drive to your accommodation in Guimarães. Upon arrival, enjoy your complimentary wine tasting. If you arrive later in the day and need to regroup, you can instead enjoy the welcome tour tomorrow.

1720 Quinta da Cancela is a 4-star Winery and Farmhouse that's proudly 300 years old. Built in 1720, the property was restored in 2007 and has been in the same family for six generations.
This property offers a variety of amenities for guests to enjoy including a garden, bar, and barbecue facilities. There's also a pool, terrace, restaurant, and coffee shop on-site. Guests can participate in on-site yoga classes or explore the surrounding area with cycling, hiking, and walking tours. Indulge in exquisite wine tastings, or enjoy a delicious scenic picnic.

Along the way, stop at Alcobaça Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its impressive scale and the tombs of King Alfonso the First and Queen Mafalda. Nazaré is a nearby coastal town filled with delicious seafood, making it the perfect place to stop for lunch. Once you've arrived at your hotel in Lisbon, unpack and get familiar with your surroundings.
