Day 1. Welcome to Malta!
Arrive at Malta International Airport and transfer to your accommodation in the capital city of Valletta. After checking in, head out to the streets of Valletta and find a restaurant to enjoy a tasty Maltese meal.

Check-in - La Falconeria
Unwind in the chic La Falconeria in the Valletta region of Malta. With beautiful views, a subterranean pool, an on-site bar, and a gym the guests are welcome to use. Those staying with the Falconeria have access to the 24-hour front desk and car rentals provided by the hotel.
Rooms are comfortable and stylish, some with views of either the city or the sea. They feature a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, a safe, ironing facilities, coffee or tea making facilities, a hair dryer, and private bathrooms complete with toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes.
The National Museum of Fine Arts and the Upper Barrakka Gardens is just 1,300 feet from the hotel, and the Malta International Airport is a little over 3 miles away.
Day 2. Valletta
Spend a full day in Valletta, Malta's stunning capital. Observe the magnificent Caravaggio painting in St. John's Co-Cathedral and sample some local street eats.
Private Valletta City & Gastronomical Tour (full-day)
Valletta is Malta’s capital city, named after Grandmaster Jean De La Valette. It was built after the Great Siege of 1565 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is often described as “a city built for gentlemen by gentlemen."
On this tour you will visit the following sites:- Malta Experience - a multi-vision show depicting 7000 years of Maltese history
- St. John's Co-Cathedral - the conventual church of the Order of St. John
- Grandmaster's Palace - previously the private residence of the Grandmaster of the Order, and now hosts the Office of the President.
- Pastizzi - a savory pastry traditionally filled with ricotta cheese or mushy peas
- Kinnie - a soft drink made with bitter oranges and herbs
- Cisk - the local beer
- Imqaret - a sweet pastry filled with dates and deep fried
Day 3. Valletta
Enjoy some of Malta's delectable wines during your tour of the Marsovin Cellars, originally built in the 17th-century by the Knights of St. John. Sample a few wines and indulge in local delicacies before returning to Valletta, where you'll have the rest of the day at your disposal.
Private Wine Tasting & Tour at Marsovin Cellars (half-day)
The tour, which takes place at the Marsovin Cellars in Marsa, begins with a historical introduction among original artifacts, followed by an explanation of the process of how the locally grown grapes are pressed, fermented and eventually transformed into wine.
The visit to the "Ageing Cellars" is a walk through the 400-year-old cellars, which are authentic and true to Maltese heritage. Here you will see where Marsovin’s premium single estate wines mature for over 12 months in 220 French oak Barriques, or barrels, together with Marsovin’s sparkling wine, produced in the traditional method, the famous “Cassar De Malte."The wine sampling of three wines is held in the wine bar, where highly trained staff will guide you through a wine tasting session to sample the different Marsovin wines accompanied by a selection of local delicacies.
Day 4. Valletta
After eating a hearty breakfast, prepare for your half-day tour of Mdina, Malta's oldest city. Journey through the cobblestone streets inside this walled city where very few cars are allowed. Mdina is home to a cluster of only 300 people!
Private Mdina Tour with Afternoon Tea (half-day)
This tour will take you to Mdina, Malta’s old capital city located in the center of the island. This city is known as the “silent city” and its foundations go back to pre-historic times. It is strategically located on one of Malta’s highest plateaus, which means you will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the whole island.
On this tour you will visit the following sites:- Mdina Cathedral - a baroque-style cathedral
- Dingli Cliffs
You will also be taken to a local restaurant for a traditional farmer’s afternoon tea. This will consist of a number of local delicacies and tea served the local way – in a glass!
Day 5. Valletta
Today is your final full day in Malta. Take some time to visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens, which is home to beautiful greenery and stunning stone arches that overlook the harbor.
Alternatively, you can explore Fort St. Angelo and Fort Ricasoli - seen in many Hollywood films - and the deep blue Mediterranean. Relax with a refreshing limoncello at an outdoor cafe bar as you watch the sunset over the horizon.
Traditional Maltese Dinner at Razzett L-Antik restaurant
Within the atmospheric walls of a 400-year-old mill room, Razzett L-Antik prides itself on the promotion of over a thousand years of Maltese food and culture. Located within the town of Qormi (the baker’s village), the restaurant prides itself on the art of slow cooking farmhouse food.
Staff wearing traditional dress and the wooden seating all add to the rustic experience, providing a real taste of Malta. A selection of traditional Maltese food will be served buffet style in pots and pans in the middle of the table.
Day 6. Depart Malta
