Day 1. Welcome to Spain!
You'll arrive at the Madrid airport, where you can pick up your included car hire. The drive is about 2.5 hours long, so enjoy the views on the way to your beautiful hotel. Once you arrive at Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel & Spa, a former monastery set among vineyards, check into your Deluxe Cámara Room, featuring exposed beams and countryside views. Take a walk around the property to see the historic cloisters, gardens, and the Tormes River.
Enjoy dinner at Zorita’s Kitchen, where seasonal dishes are paired with the estate’s Marqués de la Concordia wines. The evening is a chance to unwind and settle into the peaceful surroundings.

A former monastery overlooking the River Tormes, Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel & Spa is a magnificent wine resort with an impressive history dating back to the 14th century. The hotel is right on the riverbank in the Douro Valley and just seven miles from the bustling city of Salamanca.
At the Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel & Spa, guests experience true hospitality together with two gourmet restaurants, a vinotherapy spa, wine tasting in the cellars, and an ancient chapel with 16th-century works of art. The River Tormes flows beneath this 700-year old restored monastery and original thick stone walls and magnificent oak beams contrast beautifully with contemporary design in the 40 rooms and suites. Each room comes with a view of the river or vineyard and feature air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. Villas feature private gardens and private cellars.
Be sure to indulge in some of Hacienda Zorita’s specialties including extra virgin olive oil, local cheese, and cured ham produced on the estate. Day 2. Salamanca
Start the morning the right way with a delicious farm-to-table breakfast of fresh pastries, local cheeses, and Iberian ham. Once you're all nourished, spend the morning at the Wine & Olive Spa, with a vinotherapy treatment and a warm olive oil massage. Lounge in the hydrotherapy pool or the outdoor hot tub for some extra relaxation time.
In the afternoon, take part in a private wine tasting in the 14th-century cellar, sampling organic reds, whites, and aged reservas. Complete your evening with a walk through the vineyards before a relaxed night at the estate.

Day 3. Salamanca
It's your last full day at the historic Hacienda Zorita today! Have a slow morning with breakfast on the terrace. Later, join a cheese and olive oil tasting, sampling estate-produced cheeses and oils.
In the afternoon, consider booking a private boat ride on the Tormes River, with a picnic of local produce and wine. Treat yourself to one final supper at the hotel to cheers to your excellent holiday in Salamanca!

Day 4. Depart Spain
