Meet with your guide in the lobby of your hotel to commence your tour. The first destination will be the renowned Hippodrome Square, once the vibrant epicenter of Constantinople's sporting and social life, where chariot races echoed through the ages. Today, this historical Roman Hippodrome proudly showcases the iconic Obelisk of Theodosius and the ancient Serpentine Column, dating back to the 5th century BC.
In the mosaic of Istanbul's architectural wonders, the Blue Mosque emerges as a masterpiece of Ottoman religious artistry. This timeless sanctuary was the preferred place of worship for Ottoman Sultans until the empire's dissolution after World War I. As you listen to your knowledgeable guide, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the strategic decisions that ensured the city's survival against external threats.
Continue to the Basilica of Saint Sophia, one of history's grandest Christian sanctuaries. Over the ages, Saint Sophia has embraced diverse faiths and is now a museum showcasing Byzantine art and Ottoman-influenced architecture.
After your visit to the Basilica of Saint Sophia, you'll wander through one of history's earliest shopping havens, the Grand Bazaar. This historic marketplace continues to thrive with both indoor and outdoor sections.
Istanbul's pivotal role in connecting the East and the West dates back to pre-Ottoman times, as evident in the Nuru Osmaniye District, once home to the warehouses of Genoese and Venetian merchants. Here, they stored their precious inventory of brass, copper, rugs, and tiles before shipping them to Venice and Genoa. Today, this district boasts reputable stores offering an extensive selection of jewelry, antiques, and oriental rugs.
Day 3. Istanbul - Cappadocia
Gather your belongings and head to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Once you have arrived, settle your belongings and head out to explore more of the area.

Day 4. Cappadocia
After indulging in a hearty breakfast, set up to enjoy your half-day tour of Cappadocia. Experience magnificent sites including Castle Uchisar and Derwent Valley.
Once your tour has ended, consider using the rest of the day to explore more of the area at your own pace.
Half Day Tour of Cappadocia
You will meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel and start your panoramic exploration. Uchisar is a small town situated right in the middle of Cappadocia. The Castle Uchisar is a popular attraction in the area. Afterward, you will have some photo stops at Piegon’s Valley.
Continue onto the pretty town of Avanos, which has long been a centre for pottery artisans due to its rather wonderful location on the banks of the Red River. Enjoy a visit to a pottery workshop to meet the local artisans and see their collections displayed in a vast underground cave complex. Your tour will end with a visit to Red Valley and Derwent Valley.
Day 5. Cappadocia
Utilise your final day in Cappadocia as you see fit. Consider exploring the Open Air Museum in Goreme, viewing what's left of the iconic Fairy Chimneys, or hike along Ihalara Valley.
In the evening, treat yourself to an authentic meal at a restaurant nearby your accommodation.

Day 6. Cappadocia - Istanbul
Check out of your accommodation and board your transfer to the airport. Once your flight has landed, gather your luggage and head to your hotel. Settle your belongings and consider heading out to explore more of Istanbul.
Shop for souvenirs at the many bazaars, peruse the historical and contemporary museums, enjoy a traditional Turkish bath (or hammam), sample the sumptuous cuisine, and marvel at the magnificent architecture reflected in the many churches, mosques, castles, and palaces that dot the city!
