Today's a good day to visit Tavira, one of the most elegant towns in the eastern Algarve. Roman bridge, Moorish castle ruins, and a grid of tiled townhouses make it feel a little different from the western resorts.

Enjoy the last full day in the Algarve to the fullest. There's no need to rush, so enjoy a relaxed morning on the terrace, perhaps a final walk along the clifftops or a coffee in the village square. This afternoon is ideal for picking up any last souvenirs or simply soaking up the sunshine before an early night ahead of tomorrow's departure.
