Day 1. Welcome to Malta!
You've now arrived right off the coast between North Africa and
Sicily in the gorgeous island country of Malta! Make yourself at home
before experiencing unforgettable coastlines, megalithic temples, dazzling
beaches, ancient fortresses, and much more! Take today to get to know
your gorgeous hotel, perhaps by relaxing on its private beach, beautiful
pools, and dining at one of the delicious on-site restaurants.

Day 2. Sliema
Start off your first full day by taking a leisurely stroll through Malta's capital city of Valletta with your included city tour. Remember to bring your camera, as you'll be passing through plentiful museums, palaces, and grand churches!

Valletta City Tour (half-day)
Discover the beauty and charm of the fortified city built by the Knights of St. John in 1566 - the capital of Malta, Valletta. The Order of St. John ruled over the islands for 268 years and left a unique cultural legacy of which Valletta is the prime example. Take in the beautiful views over the Grand Harbor from the Upper Barrakka Gardens before heading out to visit St. John's Co-Cathedral. Admire Flemish tapestries, the church museum, Caravaggio masterpieces in the Oratory, and the beautiful marble inlaid floors.
Going down Republic Street, walk past the Grand Master's Palace and the recently restored St. George's Square before enjoying an audio-visual show of Malta's history.
Day 3. Sliema
Today, you'll get to experience the magic of Malta with your included
Mdina tour. Set in the heart of Malta, this city was previously the
nation's capitol during the Medieval ages. Bask in the uniqueness of
this city by seeing tall cathedrals, ancient catacombs, and mighty
fortresses. On this tour you'll get to discover tons of Game of Thrones filming locations, so be sure to bring your camera!

Mdina Tour, including lunch (full-day)
Stand in awe before the amazing fortified city of Mdina, Malta's capital in medieval times. Enter the city through the Mdina Gate, which was filmed as the gate of King's Landing in the popular television show, Game of Thrones. It was through these gates Catelyn and Ser Rodrik Cassel ride through the gates of Mdina (or King's Landing) to investigate the attack on Bran. Once inside the city, you will visit another well-known location for a thrilling scene - Pjazza Mesquita where the fight between Jaime Lannister and Ned Stark took place.
Continue on to explore the winding streets, imposing bastions, and enjoy beautiful views of the island. Learn about Siculo-Norman palaces, baroque buildings, the Greeks' Gate, and early Christian Catacombs in Rabat. Enjoy lunch after seeing the cliffs at Dingli, then continue on the visit the San Anton botanical gardens near the Presidential Palace. Relax and shop through the crafts center at Ta' Qali before stopping at one of Europe's largest dome, the majestic Rotunda of Mosta.
Day 4. Sliema
Head over to the island of Gozo today with your exciting included
tour. You'll see dozens of rural hiking paths out in the countryside,
glistening beaches adorning the coast, and Ggantija Temple ruins. Gozo is where you'll get to see the filming location of Daenerys and Drogo's wedding!

Gozo Tour including lunch (full-day)
Take a 20-minute ferry ride to Malta's sister island, Gozo. While both islands are similar in history, Gozo has more hills and has rolling green landscapes in its favor. During this excursion, visit the site where the Azure Window once stood before its collapse at Dwejra. Fans of the wildly popular show, Game of Thrones, will enjoy a tour of the location where the scene of Daenerys and Drogo's wedding was shot in the first season. The area was transformed for the screen by covering the ground in mesh and covering it with sand to create a desert-like environment.
After the stop, you'll also see the citadel in Victoria, the bay of Xlendi, and more. You'll also have free time for shopping - Gozo is renown for its woolen goods and handmade lace.
Day 5. Sliema
Use your final full day on holiday in Malta to explore more of Sliema! Some recommendations include visiting the luxurious pools at the Roman Baths, or opting for a red motor-powered dinghy adventure!
You can also visit the Fort Tigné or Julian’s Tower, a
17th-century watchtower. You'll learn even more about the island's
culture and history as well as get some great photo opportunities!
