Day 1. Welcome to Porto!
Welcome to Porto! Take some time to settle into your hotel once you arrive. Then, head out into the city for some exploration.
While on holiday in Porto, you must try some of Porto's wine. Find samplings at local establishments or choose to treat yourself to a wine tour. Otherwise, you might want to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Porto.
Visit Igreja de São Francisco, located in the centre of Porto's historic district and often regarded as the most intricate church in Portugal. Later, walk around Praia dos Ingleses, a somewhat more modern area in Porto that is filled with open spaces to walk around.

You can even take a boat across the Douro River from Ribeira Square or visit some nearby museums. You can finish your day with dinner at a local restaurant or simply relaxing back at your hotel.
