Day 1. Welcome to Crete!
Welcome to Kolymbari, Greece! A coastal town located in Crete, this
location used to be a former municipality in the Chania regional unit,
though is now a municipality of Platanias and a popular destination.
Beaches and other natural attractions are among the top places to visit
here, so get ready to take your adventures outdoors.

Recently built on an elongated pebble beach on the western end of the Gulf of Chania, the Cavo Spada Luxury Sport & Leisure Resort & Spa is a 5-star accommodation that offers tremendous views and access to local activities.
The resort spans well over 65,000 sqm, on one of Greece's most astonishing Blue Flah beaches. The location itself makes for some marvelous views to be seen while staying at this resort.
Additionally, this resort is conveniently located just 10 miles away from the Kissamos Stadium, Municipal Garden, and Platanias Square.

Day 2. Crete
You’ve made it to your first full day in Kolymbari! Before you head
out to do anything outside of the hotel, you should get yourself more
acquainted with your accommodation. Start off with a small walk
throughout the hotel and then transition to the resort’s massive pool
for some introductory relaxation! Once you’re done, consider a live yoga
session or walk through the garden, then finish off with a meal at one
of the on-site restaurants.

Day 3. Crete
Usually you’ll save the best for last, but who wants to wait for that? For today, you’ll want to visit the famous Odigitria Monastery, a male monastery located in the western end of the Asterousia near Agiofarago and Martsalo. To access this monastery, you’ll have to pass through Siva village.
The monastery was founded in the 14th century and is one of the oldest monasteries in all of Crete. Beautiful fortress-style architecture makes up the walls of this monastery, a part of which is still visible today. A winepress, oil press, baker room, a well, a guest house, and much more are available for viewing in the monastery. Be sure to watch the video that's displayed by some tours if you decide to take one, as there is a lot more to learn about this structure.

Day 4. Crete
Rumoured to have healing properties, the Cave of St. John the Hermit
is next up on the list. An actual church that might seem to appear as a
simple cave from the outside, this cave is the last place where St. John
took his final breath. The cave is immense in size, being well over 100
metres long. Known as an excellent place to seek clarity and get a
breath of fresh air for both sacred and secular purposes, a visit to
this cave will surely have you feeling at peace with yourself and the
world around you.

Day 5. Crete
Time to hit the beach! While there’s a few here that are
highly-recommended, you can’t leave Kolymbari without first visiting
Kolymbari Beach! A quite simple beach with both pebble, sand, and clear
waters, this beach makes for the perfect relaxation activity outside the
hotel. Great for snorkeling, swimming, and beach activities, this beach
is highly welcoming for people of all ages and with all interests.

Day 6. Depart Crete
Wave off one final goodbye to your resort and the island before taking your transfer back to the airport.
