Day 1. Welcome to Rome!
Welcome to Rome! Meet up with your Tour Director and travelling companions, then head out of the hotel for an exclusive welcome dinner at one of Rome's best restaurants. This will be just the first of many delectable Italian dinners!

Day 2. Rome
After having a delicious breakfast, get ready to seize the day! You'll experience a distinct guided sightseeing tour where you'll enjoy all of the many amazing highlights of ancient Rome, such as the Colosseum, Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Square, and more! You can also choose to take an optional walking tour to explore the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and other attractions made famous from the movie Angels & Demons.

Day 3. Rome - Orvieto - Assisi
Eat breakfast, then head over to Orvieto, which is picturesquely perched atop a volcanic rock. Take this time to stroll through lovely shops around Piazza del Duomo, and don't forget to check out the impressive gothic Cathedral with its San Brizio Chapel. Treat yourself to some Italian sweets at Caffa Montanucci, an over 1,000-year old pasticceria (bakery).
Tonight, you'll stay in Assisi. Enjoy an included guided walking tour which includes popular sites like St. Clare's Church and St. Francis' Basilica.

Day 4. Assisi - Florence - Padua
Are you excited? Because today, you get to explore Florence! Take your locally-guided walking tour where you'll see the Academy of Fine Arts to admire Michelangelo's popular David, gaze at the incredible marble cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistry's heavy bronze Gate of Paradise, and sculpture-lined Signoria Square.
Next you'll venture through the Apennine Mountains and the flat Po area to Padua, where you'll enjoy an introduction to St. Anthony's city and your overnight stay.

Just steps from Padua's historic center and less than a mile from the train station, this chic hotel offers luxurious amenities and contemporary decor. Day 5. Padua - Venice - Padua
Just a short drive away is Venice. You'll be coming in style on a private boat to meet your local guide, where they'll be touring you around St. Mark's Square and the Byzantine Basilica, lavish Doges' Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. You'll also have the exciting experience to watch a masterful Glassblower create delicate objects in ancient manners. After that, you'll be able to explore around Venice at your own leisure, or opt to join a cruise to the island of Burano.

Day 6. Padua - Verona - Milan
Today you'll had to the iconic setting of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Verona. Take a selfie with Juliet's balcony before continuing to the Arena, an impressively preserved pink marble Roman ampitheatre. Built around the 1st century AD, this theatre was once used for gladiator fights, but is now a famous venue for world-renowned operas. Afterwards, you'll head to the vibrant city of Madrid. Visit the Museum of the famous La Scala Opera House, then stroll to the glass-domed Galleria and the mystical gothic Duomo.

Back in Milan tonight, you'll feast on fresh risotto and wine as a special farewell dinner.

Day 8. Depart Milan
It's time to pack your souvenirs and say ciao to Italy! Take your cozy transfer to the airport, and then board your flight home.
