Day 1. Welcome to Crete!
Welcome to Crete. Once you have arrived at the airport, your private transfer will transport you and your belongings to your 5-star accommodation. Get settled into your room, and unwind in your cozy hotel room.
In the evening, head to one of the on-site restaurants to fill up on a delicious meal. Take it easy tonight, and rest up for a day of exploration tomorrow.

The hotel is located just 35 km from Heraklion Airport, 24 km from Heraklion Port, and only 3 km from Aquaworld Aquarium. There is bicycle, motorbike, and car hire available at the resort as well to transport around the area.
Day 2. Crete
Utilise the day to explore the magnificent isle of Crete. Make your way to the Heraklion Museum to learn about Europe's oldest civilization – the Minoans. During your time here, you come across an array of important artifacts that range from jewelry and vases to armour and weaponry.
Grab lunch from a nearby cafe, and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure!

Day 3. Crete
Today will be a day for the adventurous folk! Make your way to the Samaria Gorge, which is located in the southwestern part of Crete. A National park of Greece and a popular tourist attraction, this gorge allows visitors to hike along a path for about 14 kilometres. During your hike, you'll most likely encounter kri-kri, which are feral goats native to the island of Crete.
Take in the beautiful sights of nature and view the "iron gates" as you make your way down the ravine. At the end of the gorge, you're able to walk to the coastal village Agia Roumeli and fill your belly with a satisfying meal. Perhaps cheers to you completion of the hike with a celebratory drink!

Day 4. Crete
Spend today at a beach of your choice! There are several options to choose from including Elafonissi Beach, Falassarna Beach, and Matala. Whichever you choose, be sure to bring all of your beach essentials and maybe a snack (or two)!

Today is your last full day in Crete. If you feel like venturing more into the island, be sure to check out any historical or cultural sites you may have missed. Alternatively, head to the shops to purchase any last-minute memories of your holiday or sample more authentic Greek meals until your heart's content. Crete is your oyster..for one more day!
